Hello!
My name is Camilla Winquist. I’m an artist from Linköping, Sweden. After four years in Cork, Ireland, I have now graduated with a Bachelors with Honours Degree in Fine Art from MTU Crawford College of Art and Design.

I started my formal art education at 16, where I studied art at upper secondary level, and then moved on to finish two years of fine art education at the Swedish folk high school, Lunnevads Folkhögskola.

My work often centers around people. I enjoy observing and capturing the character and essence of the people around me. I truly enjoy working with colour and experimenting with different vivid grounds in my paintings, but I also feature a lot of sewing and handcrafted items in my studio practice as well as video work.
